BEANARA

Miniature Schnauzers

Beanara Indys Guise

'My Guy'

Guy is our precious new chap! A stunning black & silver. He was born on 25th September 2008 out of our Beanara Jo March (Indy) and the handsome black dog Arbeybuffels Rocket Man (Luke). Guy and Levi (see below) share the same grandsire 'Wards Creek's Silver Rocket' (Booma) so it will be interesting to see how similar they turn out to be, you can see a photo of Booma towards the bottom of this page).

Guy has a lovely, masculine head with dark, almond shaped eyes. He has a short back, sloping topline and good tail set. He has good angulation, super spring of rib and ample bone.

Watch out for 'Guy' in the show ring in 2009, already Crufts qualified at his very first show.

Guy and the rest of his litter are all CLEAR in their puppy BVA/KC litter screening eye tests.

Wellingley Whats The Game at Beanara JW ShCM

Miniature Schnauzer Puppy of the Year 2008

1 reserve Challenge Certificate

Levi

seen above at 10 months old

Levi holds a current and clear eye test certificate from a BVA/KC eye specialist vet. He IS available for stud to approved bitches with a current and clear eye test from a BVA eye specialist.

Levi is a dark pepper and salt male with a harsh, banded coat. He is a cobby, square built dog with very good forechest, bone and angulation which produces excellent movement and he always stands 4 square as a correctly constructed dog will do! He has a long, brick shaped head of correct proportions, with moderate stop, very dark almond shaped eyes and correct, full dentition with a regular scissor bite (with no misplaced teeth). We think he is just perfect and we have had some lovely comments from judges and fellow exhibitors about him.

Levi was born 28th September 2006. Huge thanks to Liz Longdin (his breeder) for letting me have him. Levi is such a love and has settled in so well with the other dogs here but his special friends are Amy and her daughter Amber who put up with him chewing their ears! His sire and grandsire are 2 of my favourite dogs in the breed, infact the rest of his pedigree is filled with gorgeous dogs. I consider myself very lucky to have him and hope he can fulfill the promise Levi has from his 'genes'. Dad 'Henry' is the sire of top puppy in breed 2006 'Ch. Caskayd Cruze Control'. Both grandsires, Booma and Moodie are both top studs/sires in breed. You can see the photos of Levis champion relatives at http://www.the-miniature-schnauzer-club.co.uk/champs.htm

Levi has now passed the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze level test. He will begin working for the next level soon.

Levi has been to ringcraft match nights 5 times and each time has won Best Puppy in Match under visiting judges, he finished the year there by being TOP DOG OF THE YEAR. Levi has also been doing well in the show ring, you can see how well on our show results page! Though he already has multiple BOB, BP and group and puppy group placements and he has qualified for Crufts 2008 at each championship show he has attended.

Levi has qualified for Schnauzer Puppy Of The Year competition to be held March 2008, hosted by SCGB by winning best puppy in breed at the Giant Schnauzer Club open show. He was also reserve best dog behind his half brother 'Ch Caskayd Cruze Control' Levi also went on to win reserve Best Puppy in Show.

Levi has also won Reserve Best In Show & Best Puppy In Show at Southport & Birkdale Limit Show.

Levi has won BEST PUPPY IN SHOW at Rugeley & Dist CS open show.

Levi has won BEST IN SHOW  at Sedgley & Gornal open show.

On 7th December at LKA champ show Levi gets the final 3 points for his Junior Warrant title by winning the junior dog class, just to make certain he then went on the win an even bigger post graduate dog class!!

on the move you can see that he maintains a sloping, firm topline and uses his hocks to provide good drive from behind

Wellingley With A Twist JW, Wellingley Whats The Game at Beanara JW, Ch Wellingley Whats On Parade and Wellingley Whats On Show for Acasia JW showing off their movement in the best in show ring at Crufts 2008 for the grand final of the Breeders Stakes. The Wellingleys were placed 3rd out of the final 12 teams.

December must be Levis lucky month! In December 2008 Levi gains his final point for his Show Certificate of Merit title, it has taken a while coming as we don't do many open shows as there aren't that many that put on breed classes. All the points for this award have been won from breed, group and Best In Show wins.

This is Henry ( Ch & Swed Ch Wellingley What About It) Henry had won 3 challenge certificates before he was 12 months old, he was called a 'baby champion' as a dog under 12 months cannot claim a champion title. Henrys achievements include 14 CC's, 15 RCC's, 13 Bests of Breed, Reserve Best In Show at BUBA 2001, Group 3 winner at Darlington 2001 and SKC 2001 and a Champion Stakes Qualifier at Blackpool 2002. Henry is also the sire of the top puppy 2006 Ch. Caskayd Cruze Control along with 4 other champions and another CC winner. Henry is also the sire of 2 Danish champions and top dog 2006

This is Booma (Wards Creek's Silver Rocket) an American import. Booma was only lightly shown, he has done much better as a stud dog, producing many of the top puppies in the breed over the last few years. Booma was also the sire of Rivas second litter (Max, Oscar, Biba and Rupert), which were stunning, with beautiful shaped heads.

Lament of a Stud
Author Unknown

My job is making puppies, and I get two tries at that.
They pat me on the head and say "good boy" - and that's that.
It's half my job to give 'em teeth and toplines, fronts and other.
Remember, it's only half my job. They also have a mother.

It's not my job to carry pups and make 'em grow and nurse 'em,
And feed and clean and make 'em strong, that's for Mother and a person.
It's not my job to wean and feed the calcium and food.
And stack and gait and housebreak and make 'em a showing brood.

It's not my job to plan the breeding and learn what produces well.
To study pedigrees, learn what's there and pick out what to sell.
It's not my job to guarantee champs, the breeder picks the pair.
To mate and whelp and feed and show and HOPE the champ is there.

It's not my job to be on hand when points are given out,
The breeder, owner, Dam and friends take credit with a shout.
It's not my job to deliver a winner, it's only genes I sell.
But let the puppies turn out BAD and guess who catches HELL!!!
