Welcome to the home of

Beanara Miniature Schnauzers

We hope you enjoy your visit. The site is regularly updated and altered so you will hopefully find something new to interest you, please leave any comments you have in our guestbook.

Can you help the AHT with their study into cancer and epilepsy? Affected dogs and healthy dogs over 7 years old are needed to provide DNA samples from a simple, painless cheek swab. For more information, look at the health page.

The breed clubs have joined together to survey the 3 sizes of schnauzer for health. You can help by downloading the form from any of the breed clubs websites (see links page)

For help, advice or just a chat about schnauzers, visit the UK Schnauzers forum. We welcome all owners from different countries and with different interests in the breeds. So drop in, make some new friends and learn more about our fabulous breed.

We have been nominated for the award below

Breeder of the Year. Must be a registered breeder (not necessarily ANKC) and be nominated by a puppy buyer. The nomination is not about the success of the breeders dogs, or how many they breed. This is about service, standards and ethics provided to their puppy buyers. More information about this award can be viewed at http://www.mdba.net.au/index.php

At Beanara all our dogs live together in the house, usually hoggin' the sofa! Below is Amber giving Levi a sneaky kiss! Our dogs maybe show dogs at the weekend but the rest of the time, they are spoilt and much loved pets who are allowed to get muddy and splash about in the ponds at the dunes!

At Beanara we aim for good temperament, health and breed type, whether a dog is a much loved family pet or also a show dog or performance dog, these 3 requirements will enable your schnauzer to be the best he or she can be. You can find out a lot more about our dogs on the other pages in this website.

'Pedigree indicates what the animal should be,

Conformation indicates what the animal appears to be,

But performance indicates what the animal is.'
